Membership
New members must complete a probationary period. The probationary period will be at the discretion of the Committee ( generally six months). References from a present or previous Club are required for new members already holding a Firearms Certificate.
Home Office Regulations require that the local police authority is notified of the names and addresses of all people joining a rifle club.
Application for Membership must be made in person at the Club during official club meeting times. To join, applicants must complete an Application Form and provide two recent Passport style photographs, a proof of address and the appropriate Joining and Membership fee.
To shoot in NSRA competitions members must be Life, Annual or Associate members of the NSRA for which a separate subscription is required.
A Parent or Guardian must accompany applicants under the age of sixteen when applying to join.

Shooting is a sport in which Individuals can compete against others with similar ability.
Each shooter is given an average score based upon the scores they achieve over a series of competition targets..
Competitions are organised so that Individuals and Teams of similar overall ability compete against each other, sometimes in Classes.
Nationally Classifications are as follows:-
Class A 98.0 and above
Class B 96.5 - 98.0
Class C 94.0 - 96.5
Class D Below 94.0
