Modern 0.22 Calibre Target Shooting Rifles are highly accurate and precision made. With many features and accessories adaptable to suit the individual shooter. Most small-bore competitions are shot using open/aperture sights with micro adjustments. A limited number of competitions are shot using Telescopic sights.
Modern match Air Riles are similar in many ways except they use compressed air to discharge a 0.177 Pellet
Modern target rifles are highly accurate precision firearms. They can have Sights capable of adjusting the sight picture point of aim by 1mm at 50m.
